Self-modelling and self-levelling interface for electric sanders. Suitable for sanding primer, paints and similar materials. Recreates perfect shapes and angles.

Interchangeable abrasive backing interface mainly designed for surface grinding and conceived for the body shop sector or similar, to solve all sanding problems.

To be used in combination with its dedicated backing pad Pad Totem.

It self-adapts to curvilinear profiles, offers a hard yet flexible support to the abrasive with uniform, constant and cushioned pressure.
It eliminates unwanted undulations and significantly reduces manual work.

It has a specific patented abrasive support system with an independent steel blade with a cushioning function, for the entire Interface 45 System.

BLUE SPONGE 8MM

• Suitable for electric sanders only.
• Thanks to its 8 mm sponge height, it adequately adapts to all curvature radii present on surfaces and contains mechanical vibrations, which are amplified on this type of tool motorisation.
• It is equipped with a hypersensitive sponge for maximum precision and speed in self-adapting the steel blade and abrasive applied to surfaces, resulting in high work performance and qualitative perfection according to the new Skeletime sanding standard.

FIELDS OF USE:

• Sanding of curvilinear parts on primer/paints or similar with abrasive grits beyond P.240
• Can also be used by hand on conventional manual pads for hard-to-reach parts

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Place on the surface and operate the tool (it must not run idle)
• For optimal performance, sanders with a 5mm orbit are recommended, used with a smooth motion following the profile of the surface to be sanded, mixing wide vertical, horizontal, and diagonal movements with medium-light pressure.
• To be used at medium tool speeds with Max 6000 RPM
• To perfect the system, it is advisable to apply it to its dedicated backing pad, Pad Totem
• To preserve its hook-and-loop adhesive, apply Interface Saver 1mm
• To further flatten its hook-and-loop adhesive and avoid sanding micro-scratches, apply Interface Converter 1mm
• The Skeletime system uses hook-and-loop adhesives of the highest quality and tenacity, and if the product is difficult to detach from the Pad Totem backing pad, especially when new, you should use a spatula with a handle to insert between the hook-and-loop adhesive and the velour, and hold the edges of the backing pad tightly. Otherwise, there is a risk of damaging the Pad Totem backing pad.
