Ultra-rigid backing pad with Skeletime® hard steel plate , but with soft edge.

Designed to SELF-LEVEL and perfectly RECREATE flat surfaces without wavy lines , because thanks to the patented Skeletime® steel plate they always maintain a hard support for the abrasive in contact and rectify the waviness with perfect surfaces, significantly reducing manual labor .

Designed to ALSO ELIMINATE DUST , because in addition to avoiding manual work, It is equipped with 24 airboxes and centralized holes with Venturi effect, which amplify the suction .

Suitable for all sanders and abrasives on the market.

Recommended primarily for the marine/aerospace/automotive composites industry, woodworking industry, drywall sanding and other industrial uses.

It comes with one Interface Saver 1mm to soften the support to your liking or extend its life.

Adapter kit (OPTIONAL) is available for sanders with non-standard attachments, such as Festool or Rupes.

USE:

To be used with the sander for the use of all abrasive grits on flat parts, to OBTAIN HIGH QUALITY WORK WITHOUT WAVIES AND PERFECT PROFILES.

HOW TO USE:

Place the tool on the surface and turn it on (it must not spin freely)

For best performance, we recommend sanders with a minimum orbit of 5 mm and use fluidly following the profile of the surface to be sanded, mixing large vertical, horizontal and diagonal movements with medium-light pressure.

It is recommended to use the tool at medium speeds of 6000/7000 rpm

If you want to preserve its original tear-off adhesive, or soften the backing, apply ABX.0148.14 Saver 1mm

After sanding the surface with Skeletime Thor, if you want to get an ultra finish, you can go over the surface again with ABX.0148.05 Interface Sponge 5mm

If you want to get a very fine grain sanding without scratching the paint, you can apply ABX.0148.06 Velcro Converter 1mm
